The CrossingConnect™ Equipment Controller (EC) provides complete system control for CrossingConnect modules and sub-systems, including I/O and communications needs.

The EC can be interfaced and configured for robotic control applications that require integration of motion with the I/O associated with controlling vacuum system elements such as vacuum and vent valves.

Hardware and software are easily configured, or reconfigured, to the application at hand.

The EC is also a complete servo control unit that can control up to four axes of motion. It has 126 optically isolated inputs/outputs, 9 analog inputs/outputs and 15 relay drivers. The EC only requires a customer supplied 24V DC power input.
